Agent Benefits
Dallas & Mavis has entered into many very successful agent
agreements with motor carriers and fleet owners, large and small. We would like
the opportunity to add you to our commissioned agent network where affiliates
enjoy a profitable working relationship with DMSCC.
There are many benefits to running under Dallas & Mavis€™ operating
authority. Some very costly administrative and operating expenses would be
handled by Dallas & Mavis.
The list of the activities, administrative functions, and expenses that would
transfer to Dallas & Mavis includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- BI PD, & Cargo Insurance
-
- Log Review & Audits
-
- Licensing & Operating Permits Financing
-
- Fuel Tax Reporting
-
In an effort to provide the best service to
our owner/operators and fleet owners we process fuel tax on a quarterly
basis. This format enables credits and debits to offset each other over
a 90 day period.
- Billing, Collections, & Credit Checks
-
Customers requiring special handling for
unique billing procedures are assigned to a specific individual within
the billing department. Credit & Collections performs two important
functions: approval of credit for new customers and collection of
outstanding receivables.
- Commission, Truck & Driver Settlement
-
Settlements are processed on a weekly basis
in an effort to streamline the process and spread contractor deductions
throughout the month.
- Tariff & Contract Preparation
-
- National Sales & Marketing Support
-
The sales and marketing of our services is a direct result of our Agents
and Regional Managers assigned to each agent. We have in place senior
management and field representatives with specific areas of
responsibility in assigned regions. Their primary responsibilities are
to maintain and grow existing agents, direct customer solicitation,
agent development, recruit owner/operators and fleets, and Safety/new
driver orientations.
- Internet Access to the DMSCC Computer System
-
- Brokerage Services
-
To provide an avenue for our agents to move
excess freight or traffic that has been turned down by DMSCC drivers,
the brokerage department has a large and diverse carrier base capable
of moving flatbed, stepdeck, lowboy, van, and refrigerated traffic.
DMSCC provides a simple paper process and quick pay system to the
providing carrier.
- Trip Pak
-
- Free Equipment Inspections
-
- Free Physicals @ Drug Screenings
-
- Comdata Fuel card express Pay
-
- Driver Recruiting Support
-
While you enjoy these added benefits, your fleet will remain under your control
and direction, with full support from Dallas & Mavis when requested. Due to
the reduced administrative demand, you will have more time to focus on business
development and driver productivity.
We realize that you are probably being solicited by other carriers. For that
reason, we would like the opportunity to meet with you personally to discuss
the Dallas & Mavis program in considerable detail.
