Passenger Authorization Program

In previous editions of €śdriven€ť, we have published articles discussing passengers and Dallas Mavis€™ Passenger Authorization Program. Those articles sparked some good dialogue and constructive input from our drivers. Due to that interest and the suggestions it generated, we have modified the Passenger Authorization Program effective May 1, 2003.

The greatest change is that drivers may now enroll in the Passenger Authorization Program for 90 consecutive days at a cost of $60.00, as opposed to enrolling for a full year. Please note the 90 day plan is for 90 consecutive days. You may not distribute the 90 days over a greater period of time. Previously, drivers were required to enroll for the entire year at a cost of $225.00. The annual fee can be prorated, but only for the year a driver€™s employment commences with Dallas Mavis. The annual plan is still available to any driver at the $225.00 rate. The 90 day option may be renewed for an additional 90 consecutive days at the $60.00 rate. Renewal notices will be sent out 60 days before their current program would expire.

Please remember €“ Only one passenger at a time may travel with you and you need a completed Passenger Authorization Packet for each and every passenger. Every unauthorized passenger will be immediately removed from your vehicle at your expense.
